The roof forms serve functions on the exterior. They overhang to provide shade during the warmer months and then create a really unique transition from the single story portion of the home to the second story. Plus, they take form in the great room with a curved ceiling form above that transitions up to the second floor, creating a timeless architectural element.

Inspired by curving forms of nature and Brazilian modernism, ARCHITECTS OFFICE create an urban escape
In a leafy neighbourhood of São Paulo, architecture and interior design agency ARCHITECTS OFFICE renovated an apartment with the aim of creating an urban escape. Inspired by curving forms of the natural world, the design features a new floorplan layout, along with iconic design pieces and a minimalist style.
