Contemporary minimalism meets classical form in this Flos Bespoke lamp, a commission to Michael Anastassiades for the luxury Italian leather-goods house Valextra. The lamp is repeated in seven identical examples within the rigorous John Pawson– designed interiors of Valextra’s Milan flagship on Via Manzoni. Aroma light installation becomes the centrepiece in the reception atrium (50 feet high) of a leading spice manufacturing company. Its design traces the journey of the process of cooking, ascribing to it a tangible, sculptural sense. The 35-feet-tall light installation is suspended from the ceiling, representing beauty in its truest form — mirror finished stainless steel balls, almost glass-like in feel, and floating ‘aroma rings’ of light keep enlarging as they spiral up and spread out. The Palazzo Grassi is situated in Venice (Italy) and inaugurated in 2006 and 2009. Palazzo Grassi and Punta della Dogana are the two contemporary art museums of the Pinault Collection in Venice. The building, where personal and collective exhibitions are shown, has been renovated by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando. Palazzo Grassi aims to share with the public the knowledge and love for contemporary art through the extraordinary Pinault Collection and to strengthen the priviledged relationship the institution has developed with artists, especially thanks to works specifically conceived for its exhibition spaces. Restaurant "The old man & the sea" The Restaurant "The old man & the sea" located in a hangar on the platform of the ancient port of Jaffa, and is spread over an area of 900 square meters. Basis of planning we dealt with was the strict conservation guidelines. The old man and the sea is an authentic Jaffa food Institute of decades decided to move to a new location-Hangar used by the fishermen of Jaffa and their boats for decades until it was abandoned due to aging and the dangers of it. As in Poetic justice, the location of a fish restaurant preserves the memory of the owner's ancestors that their fishing boats were housed in this space in the past.
