Poseidonion Hotel
The Poseidonion Hotel in Spetses, originally opened in 1974, still occupies a commanding position representing the unique culture of Spetses and the history of Greece and Greek mythology. Sympathetically refurbished in 2011 to depict service elegance and style, the owners choose timber flooring from Dennebos throughout the hotel bedrooms, and in the Wellness Centre. The ethos of the design decision was to reflect an era of wealth, privilege, refined hospitality and comfort. A light reflecting colour in 175mm wide was chosen as the main flooring feature with complimentary soft furnishings within the bedrooms to enhance the feeling of space and minimalism. Residence Amsterdam
Sometimes location is just the place you want to be. This was the situation for the owners of a wonderful apartment in Amsterdam. The aim was to create a comfortable warm welcoming interior styled to feel more like a traditional family home.
The entire area of 380m2 was refurbished with each room boasting its own unique floor. The decisive choice was aged planks from Dennebos. Although by choosing a variety of plank widths fitted together in a random format, gave the architecturally designed interior a young, individual contemporary personality.
