In Villeroy & Boch's rimless DirectFlush WCs the conventional flushing rim is replaced with an intelligent water flow that rinses the entire interior of the bowl, without over-splashing. The complete rinsing of the bowl on each and every flush and the prevention of over-splashing are ensured by the special splash guard on the upper edge of the bowl and the higher positioning of the water jets.
Conventional WCs have a narrow flushing rim, the interior of which is most difficult both to view and to access.
