Located in the underdeveloped region of Lombok, Indonesia, this project represents the first phase of a broader master plan to revitalize an existing school campus. Responding to the region’s tropical climate and cultural heritage, the design integrates passive cooling strategies, locally sourced materials, and vernacular architectural principles to create a sustainable and contextually rooted living environment for students. Shanghai Baowu University Renewal

As a campus built in 1978, in order to adapt to the requirements of campus development, the owner needs to update the campus and supplement functions such as commercial facilities and accommodation. The project demolished the original swimming pool and built a new commercial facility and two dormitory buildings.  The west side of the campus is adjacent to the Malu River, with lush green trees on both sides and clear river water. But in the current situation, blocked by walls, the value of the waterfront is not felt on campus. Customized livingThe property is on the edge of the Gründerzeit development in the Jakomini district to the south of Augarten. Characteristic features of this development are perimeter blocks with green and quiet inner courtyards and a homogeneous, imposing appearance on the street side. Adoma Malpère

The project in Toulouse is divided into two units: The Adoma dormitory for young workers at the street and behind it a complex with twelve terraced houses for families.The Adoma complex consists of two blocks around a central core with communal areas and access zones. The second block is slightly recessed, creating a protected entrance area. The upper floor rests on slender columns. Thus the ground floor remains free and creates a connection to the surrounding green as well as roofed parking spaces for the residents.The individual mini-apartments are constructed as timber modules around a massive access core. The wood remains visible on the ceilings of the apartments and creates a warm, cosy atmosphere in the rooms. More
