Praça Apartment
Located in a building designed by Artacho Jurado in the Vila Buarque neighborhood, the Praça Apartment was designed for a young architect who chose to move to the center of São Paulo.
The 70m² apartment underwent a comprehensive renovation aimed at maximizing the integration between spaces. Except for the walls that enclose the bathroom, all other partitions were demolished, creating a large open and multifunctional environment. The new layout of the apartment introduced flexibility and the overlapping of uses and functions (cooking, working, sleeping, and socializing), in line with the laid-back lifestyle of the resident, who is also a co-author of the project. Town Hall Quarter Hohenems
For decades, the urban centre of Hohenems was characterised by vacancy and decay, but in recent years has developed into a small town with remarkable qualities thanks to targeted restructuring and redevelopment of individual properties. Contrary to the usual tendencies in other towns to hand over political responsibility to investors and to carry out supposed revitalisation through new large-scale structures, alternative strategies are being successfully pursued in Hohenems. Twitch HQ
The new Twitch HQ occupies eight floors of the new 350 Bush building in downtown San Francisco. Video gaming being at the center of Twitch's universe, we started the conceptual design approach with an initial round of design research and studies reinterpreting the characters, patterns and spaces of early video games. These studies informed both the macro and micro scale design solutions for the new HQ space.
