ESTATION R is a responsible market with bulk products in Guadalajara, designed by Mess Studio. This project was born out of the need to raise awareness about single-use plastic, non-biodegradable waste and the quality of the food we consume, through recyclable packaging and natural products. Tia Santa is a new healthy food restaurant chain. Vilalta Arquitectura was commissioned to design the architecture of the first restaurant in the heart of Barcelona, near the crossroads of the main avenues Passeig de Gràcia and Diagonal.For this first restaurant, the interior composition was studied considering the distribution of existing space, which consisted of three levels connected by stairs. The reception area was placed at the intermediate/street level. Development is currently starting of the central axis of the new multimodal hub, which will channel all the flows of traffic meeting here, creating a new centrality of this site.The traffic flows are the new tram system, buses, bicycles and pedestrians. Different movements with different needs.The following design issues are addressed here:1. Unification of the horizontal texture that forms all the paving. All the flows that cross the place are paved with natural or artificial stone.  A highway to sheep and shepherds. The cattle tracks were routes that annually herds traveling to move from the sea to the mountains and go back. The pavilion of transhumance is located close to the “tratturo del re”, a green path linking the Apulian plains to the mountains of Abruzzo in central Italy. The project has the aim of enhancement of rural traditions and enhance the local tourist routes and products, mainly related to the oil and wine production.
