Hermosa house was built for a growing family and incorporates many advanced features. Built primarily from concrete and steel, the five level building maximizes indoor space on a small beach town lot. The 4 bedroom 5 bath house has an almost entirely glass glad 3rd floor and has 180 degree views of Palos Verdes and Malibu. Two large grid tie solar PV arrays provide all of the electricity for the building. Coupled with two thermal hot water systems this building uses almost no outside energy inputs.
