CHUNTAIWANG Rehabilitation and Care Institution
With China’s economic growth and population aging, more and more unique and high-quality elderly care models are emerging. Our project aims to explore a new method that combines natural healing concept into a combined institution that lies among the woods. Such institution consists of an elderly care centre and a rehabilitation centre. It also adopts passive energy-saving technology, makes it not only a combined function building that fully integrates with the characteristics of the site, but also a building that conforms sustainable idea which is crucial nowadays.

Egehaven Senior Housing Community
In Egedal Municipality, the construction of the new district Egedal City with 3,000 future homes is well underway. 67 of them will be built in the senior living community Egehaven, which will be built on a 7,300 m² plot of land next to the common outdoor space ‘The Green Loop’. LINK Arkitektur has designed the winning project for the senior living community. Egehaven is aimed at singles and couples on their way into the 3rd age, who dream of a home with the opportunity to continue an active life together with others. AGi architects has designed a building focused on people, in their sense of belonging, autonomy and well-being. It is based on a sustainable architecture that minimizes its impact on the landscape, brings nature into the building, and fosters social, psychological and physical well-being.
