El Paso Zoo Cat Adoption Center
At the El Paso Zoo’s Cat Adoption Center, MNK Architects was scoped with creating a fun, colorful, and family-friendly environment where the potential adoptees and cats could have one-on-one encounters. In the renovation of the Cat Adoption Center (previously known as The Asia Exhibit), MNK relied heavily on Banker Wire’s SJD-2 wire mesh pattern to create a key architectural installation that was both functional and decorative, helping realize the overall design scheme and purpose of the Center.Asian motifs underscore the architecture and design of the Cat Adoption Center—a structure that was originally built in the early 1990s. Delta Hotel
Located in the heart of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada stands the Delta Hotel, where guests can “Expect Even More” from their stay. Its 46-story glass tower adds a sleek accent to the Toronto skyline. To complement the hotel’s tower, Page + Steele/IBI Group Architects specified Banker Wire mesh for the hotel’s adjoining rooftop parking garage stairway enclosure.

Stade de Soccer de Montréal 2
Completed in 2015, the Stade de Soccer de Montreal is an award-winning addition to Montreal’s sports culture. The facility is situated along the edge of a former quarry that is currently in the process of being transformed into a nearly 500–acre ecological park – soon to be the largest urban park in Montreal. Saucier + Perrotte Architects designed the extraordinary building to celebrate the landscape it sits on and the multiculturalism of the area. When charged with finding equally versatile interior design components that would meet both technical and aesthetic requirements, architects Saucier + Perrotte chose Banker Wire woven wire mesh.

Dulles Corridor Metrorail Walkways
The new Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line has significantly reduced the commute time between Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. In the first phase of the project, a direct route runs from Washington, D.C. to Tysons Corner, but will be eventually expanded to run all the way to Dulles International Airport. In addition to the new line, pedestrian bridges featuring more than 60,000-square-feet of Banker Wire woven wire mesh were also created and interspersed throughout the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line. The pedestrian bridges, with Banker Wire woven wire mesh, connect metro stations to parking lots – helping commuters cross busy roads more safely.
