Photovoltaic energy – the direct conversion of sunlight into electrical energy - is still affected by the common formats and designs. The exhibited module should illustrate the wide range of possibilities of this technology and how the requirements from the architecture could be met.
In the exhibited element the - usually highly reflective - metallic interconnections were covered by a special printing technique. This results in combination with a homogeneous ceramic frit on the lower glass, in a homogeneous surface. Looks very promising for an usually very technical sounding element.
