‘THE A LAB’ has created a pavilion symbolizing the energy city for ‘Fablab Asia Network 5’ at the Seoul Innovation Park. The pavilion is designed as a combination of cube boxes, which are units that make up the city. Solar panels and wind turbines installed in the pavilion produce electricity and provide it to the citizens who visit. Citizens can access the energy city virtual space through a digital medium called ‘QR code’ decorated on the elevation.
