Enlargement

The project consisted of dismantling the roof of a three-storey building, with three apartments per floor, and replacing it with a new volume that contains the enlargement of two of the apartments on the top floor, a total of 97m2 plus 54m2 of terraces. Pablo Casares The construction was made of wood to facilitate the process and minimize weight. In fact, despite adding a floor, the total weight was reduced and thus doesn´t add load to a somewhat delicate building of the 1940ies, with a protected façade due to its historical value.
