Residential Home Bar Remodel
Sometimes the smallest material choice has the biggest impact on a project. In this home bar remodel, the standout feature isn't the cabinetry, countertops, or appliances. It's the woven wire mesh wrapping the front of the bar. By incorporating Banker Wire's M33-2 pattern in stainless steel, the homeowner turned a straightforward bar area into a space with texture, character, and a distinctly custom feel.
The before-and-after photos make the transformation easy to appreciate. While the original bar served its purpose, it lacked a strong focal point. Entitled “Future Energy”, this year’s world exhibition in the capital city of the Republic of Kazakhstan is shining the spotlight on the topic of energy. The EXPO 2017 aims to create more awareness worldwide and to inspire nations to work together to meet the global challenges of the future. Situated in an affluent area of mid-town Toronto this modern house serves to celebrate the clients’ love of nature and their desire to live an active and engaged urban lifestyle.
The clients were a forward thinking couple with a drive to create a house with clean spaces and simple detailing. Using the Incite Method, the design process progressed through collaborative engagement directly with the clients to ensure that the house was tailored to achieve their objectives and enabled them to live their desired lifestyle.
