Borgo Montecucco
The D.O.C. (Controlled Designation of Origin certification) wine produced on the hill on which Montecucco lies takes its name from the hamlet. The hamlet includes a small brick church, an agricultural building used as an oil mill, a residential building with a wine cellar below, and a complex of barns and warehouses. It dates back to between the first half of the eighteenth century and the beginning of the nineteenth century.
