ULTRATHINING Sines  A strange moment for the town of Sines to host Distant Lights, the rich work of Nuno Cera – a quasi-native of the place and someone who has travelled extensively, eyes wide open around the world. We are living a moment in history where the path of fossil energies has again made a turn … back, as the dramatic Ukrainian war seems to bifurcate towards an already confirmed anthropocentric destruction. Turtlehill Design was honored to be invited to the multimedia and architectural installation exhibition titled “Chant of the Present Imagery” at the gallery space inside the Taikoo Hui Shopping Mall, and we created a spatial installation called “Starry Day”. In response to the theme of reading time through art, we were exploring ways of translating the immateriality of time through spatial expression. To mark the 60th Vegeta anniversary, we organised a “60-year-long journey”, a unique train journey from Zagreb to Koprivnica and back staging all historical phases of this iconic Croatian product. We’ve brought our guests to revisit 1959, the year when Vegeta was first created in the Podravka factory. In cooperation with Brigada, for the first time ever in Croatia, an entire train turned into an event restaurant. On the way to Koprivnica, our guest could enjoy a celebratory menu, as well as a special entertainment programme which continued inside the old Vegeta factory in Koprivnica with a play that told the story about how Vegeta, thanks to scientist Zlata Bartl who created it, set out to conquer the world.
