Al Wasl Utility Building is a landmark with a design that is inspired by the Expo 2020 logo. Expo 2020 is the first and largest global event hosted in the Middle East taking place in Dubai, UAE. Anticipating millions of visitors from all over the world. However, it’s postponed by a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For such an event, the country decided to hire the best consultants, designers, and engineers to ensure creating a memorable legacy that will benefit present and future generations.   More

DUBAI EXPO 2020: ALGERIA PAVILION PROPOSAL

Concept design for the Expo 2020 Dubai - Algeria Pavilion, which aims to provide a neat, simplified representation of this large and extremely fascinating country. This two-storey building has been designed to illustrate the country communal identity and is punctuated by five iconic towers that express specific features of each of the five geographical areas. Each region is referred to through decorative patterns applied to the monochromatic brick cladding, as well as the colourful ceramic tiles at the main entrances.
