The project is based on total prefabrication in reinforced concrete. Modular panels make up all the building elements: façades, roofs and interior partitions. The typification of elements made it possible to speed up and simplify the construction, while emphasising the building's image.

Wunderkammer: The Music School of Bressanone represents a new gateway to the ancient city
In Bressanone (Bolzano, Italy), architectural firm Carlana Mezzalira Pentimalli has completed Wunderkammer: The Music School of Bressanone. Situated in the northern portion of the city and close to its ancient centre, the landmark project represents a new gateway to the city.
Constructed entirely in exposed reinforced concrete, the red tone of the concrete comes from adding red porphyry aggregates and pigments (at a ratio of red 3% and black 2.5%). The rich and complex colour that results integrates with the surrounding traditional building fabric in a simple yet striking way.
