Dajiang innovation HQ
Designs for DJI’s new HQ in Shenzhen revealedFoster + Partners unveiled their vision for the new headquarters for DJI, the world leading robotics company, currently under construction in Shenzhen. As the ‘heart of innovation’ for the company, the new building defies the traditional idea of office space to form a creative community in the sky.The twin towers combine sensitive research and development spaces with office and other public functions. A planning application was submitted to the City of London Corporation on 13 November 2018 for The Tulip, a new public cultural attraction which would be sited next to 30 St Mary Axe, also known as The Gherkin.This project is proposed by J. Apple opens Milan’s newest public squareApple Piazza Liberty is an ensemble of two fundamental elements, a stepped plaza and a fountain. Apple Cotai Central
Apple Cotai Central offers a calm complement to the buzz and excitement of Macau, responding to the desire for an inviting, contemplative space, where technology, entertainment and arts come together to make a positive contribution to the city. Vatican Chapel
The opening ceremony of the Vatican Pavilion was held today, in the presence of Cardinale Ravasi, President of the Pontifical Council for Culture. This is the first time the Vatican City has been represented at the Venice Architecture Biennale. The ‘pavilion’, curated by Francesco Dal Co, takes the form of ten temporary chapels, each designed by a different architect. Foster + Partners has designed one of the chapels located in a wooded area at one end of the Venetian island of San Giorgio Maggiore. The starting point for the chapel’s design concept was to take three symbolic crosses set in the landscape, draped with a tent-like membrane. The Murray, Hong Kong’s newest luxury hotel has now fully opened to the public. Located on the southern edge of Central with panoramic views of The Peak and the gardens to the south, this major transformation of a listed government office building reinvents this unique urban quarter – stitching together the urban fabric by linking the large green spaces flanking the site to the east and west.

Foster + Partners has completed 3Beirut – the first of the practice’s projects in Lebanon. Responding directly to the site and culture of Beirut, the scheme creates a sustainable residential and retail development in the heart of the city. The development also strengthens Beirut’s role as a centre for tourism, commerce, retail and entertainment while providing new green spaces at ground level for the city to enjoy.
The scheme is located in Beirut Central District on a prestigious site within the wider Solidere masterplan for the regeneration of the city centre. 11 October 2018 - Bloomberg wins RIBA Stirling Prize 2018 Bloomberg’s new European headquarters, located in the heart of the City of London, has been awarded the Stirling Prize 2018. Inspired by the pulse of Chicago’s artistic energy, Apple has created a new platform for performance in a city charged by music. Located at the intersection of the Chicago River and North Michigan Avenue’s ‘Magnificent Mile’, Apple Michigan Avenue cascades down from Pioneer Court to the river’s edge, creating new connections between the city and the river.
