The first discussion took place at the end of October 2018: the Portuguese Football Federation (FPF- Federação Portuguesa de Futebol) wanted to begin the experimental broadcasts for its new television channel in April 2019.  The final premises of the future channel will be located inside a new building to be constructed at the same time as the new sports pavilion, on the south side of the ‘Football City’ (CF- Cidade do Futebol). Since the schedules of the two projects were not compatible, the FPF decided to build temporary premises.
