Working in the historic center is always a fascinating challenge and a great responsibility especially if you are in Firenze.Via degli Orti Oricellari is a road that connects Borgo Ognissanti to the Santa Maria Novella Station by tangling the garden of Orti Oricellari from which it takes its name.
The apartment in question is situated on the first floor of an ancient building dating back to the 19th century.Its location allows the view of the garden and an excellent exposure to natural light.

“We wanted to avoid a hierarchical structure where the teachers occupy the top floor of the building and the pupils are consigned the lower floors. Instead, we put the teachers and administrative staff in a shared, central ring floor, in the middle of the everyday activities. Around the playful, wider middle part, everyone can see and meet one another.” More

Flooring material 50,000 m2 Marmoleum Real, Dual, Vivace , Fresco
In this project 4 colours out of the Global linoleum collection were combined. Real and Dual tiles: with its classic marbled structure. Vivace: a colourful and lively design that hides dirt and adapts well to a multitude of interiors. Fresco: A subtle marbled structure that is based on the Fresco artwork of ancient times.

Leeds City Museum
Work began in autumn 2005 on an ambitious project to turn Leeds’ old Civic Theatre into an exciting new museum in the heart of Leeds.
