Located in a small town in Zhejiang, China, Café On-Site(开场Kai-Chang) is conceived as a field of energy for neighborhoods. Beyond serving locally inspired signature coffee and food, the café focuses on human gathering and interaction — on how energy flows, accumulates, and connects within a spatial setting.We developed the project holistically, including brand strategy, naming, visual identity, and interior design. “开场(Kai-Chang)” carries three layers of meaning:

A phoenix among park benches. This is Emau.A connection with the past inspires this contemporary park bench. The attentively designed, slimline side profile draws inspiration from the brutalist architecture of the 1960s, which is reflected in the support elements thanks to cutting-edge modelling development. A continuous arrangement of wooden slats joins the seat and backrest into a single elegant piece – a modern silhouette, with precise, old-school details.
