Pavilhão Guaju
In the district of Guajuvira, 35 km away from the city of Curitiba, Brazil, the countryside landscape sustained by small agribusiness families is constantly interspersed with remnants of native Atlantic Forest vegetation. Often protecting water sources and small streams that flow into the Iguaçu river basin, these forest clusters are home to protected species, such as the Araucaria - the tree that gives the town its name. In this native landscape, in a less dense portion of forest, the architects were commissioned to create a space for relaxation, silence and physical activity - with the fundamental premise of neutralizing built intervention amid the existing natural condition, or to at least mitigate its visual presence.

The Hawk's Nest
Proudly installed by us at über-hip venue The Hawk's Nest in the heart of London’s Shepherd’s Bush.When we were approached by the team at Bird House London, we were presented with the challenge of transforming the outdoor space at The Hawk’s Nest into a flexible all-year venue that could operate at full capacity whatever the weather, and would also provide sufficient sound-proofing to allow the premises to extend their opening hours by an additional two hours on their busiest nights.The space comprised a large outdoor alleyway beside the tube line arches running the length of Shepherd’s Bush Market.
