Good Vibration

D-Vision is a collection of trumeaux – an especially common 18th century piece of furniture which returned to prominence in the 1960s – with a brand new interpretation by Ferruccio Laviani and transformed into a visionary, unusual object. Fratelli Boffi previews D-Vision .3, the first of three versions from the collection of trumeaux, where this piece of furniture is literally split in two parts by an imaginary diagonal line. The upper part symbolically slides downwards to some sort of hold, modifying the original design. This duality also characterises the use of hues and finishes, contrasting the lacquering of the lower section and the crimped wood of the upper section.
