Windsor City Hall

Together with Architecttura Inc., Moriyama Teshima Architects delivered a beautiful, cost-effective facility for the City of Windsor that is efficient, transparent, functional, customer service-oriented, and sustainable. Built adjacent to the waterfront park and within the parking lot directly behind Windsor's existing City Hall, the new 107,000 SF facility is a central component and anchor for the new Downtown Core Civic Square, which will include new cultural and recreational facilities as well as a new development from the University of Windsor's St. Clair College. Norfolk County Hall

The wire mesh railing infill panels recently installed at Norfolk County Hall bring new life to the 1960s building. Located in Norwich, UK, Norfolk County Hall is the seat of the Norfolk County Council. Being the headquarters for a local government authority, the building’s interior should reflect a dignified and elegant appearance. To this extent, Banker’s UK representatives at Amron Architectural worked with designers at Purcell to select the best material for the railings, ultimately deciding on Banker’s M22-27 in copper. National Museum of American Diplomacy

BBB’s design for the National Museum of American Diplomacy, located at the State Department Headquarters in Washington DC, features interactive technologies that support real-time connections with embassies and exhibits throughout the world. Visitors will be welcomed into a grand 15,400 SF entry lobby that opens into an exhibition pavilion and gallery spaces. The design also includes a theater, classrooms, gift shops, museum support spaces, security screening, and climate control systems for the collections. The next phase of the project, which totals approximately 20,000 SF, will include additional museum spaces and will restore much of the historic lobby of the Marshall Building. Menashe Regional Council

This three-story municipal building is planned as a civil center in the spirit of the modernist movement, reminiscent of many of the public buildings built in the first half of the previous century in the kibbutzes and moshavs of the area.The first floor of the building houses the departments that receive the public: money collection, education, social services and psychological services. Paphos District Court

The aim of the project is the development of a new building next to the existing Paphos District court building to provide additional court rooms alongside office space. The new building sits in the plot next to the existing court, which was previously used as a car park.The design aims to create a continuation of the street elevation between the two buildings, inserting like an abstract form, which maintains the general scale of the street and the area and showcase the human scale as well. CSEC Headquarters

WZMH Architects and HDR Architects collaborated with Spring Valley Corp. to fulfill the design requirements of this unique Government of Canada project. CSEC required a building that would support cutting-edge technology and human creativity, and promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration. To fulfil this objective, Spring Valley created a translucent panel called “iTrans”. Age- old logs were sourced from the depths of Georgian Bay and then sliced into 0.40mm thick veneer. They were laminated into panels which allow light to come through the wood, creating an amazingly warm glow. City Hall, Krimpen aan den Ijssel

Our Bell lamps used in this project offer lightness to the interiors of the new city hall in Krimpen aan den Ijssel , Netherlands. The ceiling green Bell lamps make the common space more funny and colourful, the white suspensions lighten the atmosphere of the conference room. Conference Room in the Spanish Parliament

Customized according to the architect original idea This historic building has a 100% solid wood curved ceiling to create a warm atmosphere with high acoustic performance. The ceiling begins and finish in vertical application covering the room completely and connects with a classic furniture and high technology communication systems in the same room. The risky point was the complexity of the carrier system which was thought to hide the existing beams. The complete project is customized according to the architect original idea. McMaster Kinesiology Labs

When the Department of Kinesiology needed to design facilities to house new biomechanics, physiology and motor-control labs using existing space in the Ivor Wynne Centre Building they turned to dpai. Short on time, but in need of a thorough assessment of the space, dpai led user groups through a participatory design process that was crafted specifically to facilitate the compressed schedule. Ministry of Defence

The architect, Sander Architects, had from the beginning of this project a strong preference to design with Techstyle® acoustical ceiling panels. Hunter Douglas and the architect joined forces to get the best possible integration of Techstyle® in the ceiling design with great success! The Ministry of Defence located between Plein and Kalvermarkt in The Hague, the Netherlands is an attractive complex with some sections of the building retaining historical value with the Plein side a national monument. The buildings on the Kalvermarkt form a conservation area and are classified as a future monument. Dulles Corridor Metrorail Walkways

The new Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line has significantly reduced the commute time between Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia. In the first phase of the project, a direct route runs from Washington, D.C. to Tysons Corner, but will be eventually expanded to run all the way to Dulles International Airport. In addition to the new line, pedestrian bridges featuring more than 60,000-square-feet of Banker Wire woven wire mesh were also created and interspersed throughout the Dulles Corridor Metrorail Silver Line. The design for the new U.S. Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados combines prevalent vernacular architectural styles, local materials and modernist forms in an architecture that symbolizes U.S. democratic ideals while meeting challenging building and site requirements set by the U.S. Department of State.
