Metope
Casa Metope is located in the south part of Corfu, in Chlomos. The plot provides breathtaking views of the Ionian sea and the Korission lake. The aim of the project wwas to create a residence that best fits the needs of its residents and best frames the panoramic views. The biggest challenges we had to face were the stip slope and the narrow limits.

Full Moon / Hotel complex in Zakynthos Island
Inspiration for the concept of the hotel came from the famous painting Full Moon by the artist Yannis Moralis. The painting is a superb example of advanced geometric abstraction, distinguished by solid compositional structure, purity of form, harmonious proportions and dynamic rhythm of flowing curvilinear themes and interlocking patterns. Both the geometric shapes of the composition and the colour palette of the painting were used in the design of the hotel.

neo hut / Hotel complex in an olive garden
In the last century, during the summer time, crossing the plains and the seashore of the island of Zakynthos, one encountered different variations of an interesting ephemeral architectural form, the primitive stilt hut. This construction primarily functioned as an observation unit during agricultural work, and later as a pleasant and cool place for the residents to stay during the summer. Basic elements of the architectural composition are found in these constructions, such as the grid, the overlapping placement of similar elements, the openings towards north and east, the placement of the volume on piles for enhancing the cooling of the construction with the aim of the local winds etc. These principles influenced us for the design of the t...
