To design a new French market offering for Luneurs - Les Halles, hcreates interiors developed an eclectic approach in materiality, by planning and styling with a distinct separation of bakery, coffee, ice cream, and delicatessen. hcreates played with a larger industrial approach to scale, utilizing large light/ acoustic features and exposing services and fire hoses to emphasize a more raw sense of space, whilst retaining the warm, inviting aesthetic of the other well-loved Luneurs locations. The brief was to create a hiatus for the modern man that delivered a high-end, cut and shave barber experience with the addition of a bar and pre/post shave “chill” space. Located in the popular Chengdu Taikoo Li mall customers would be encouraged to have a cocktail and cut whilst their partners’ shopped next-door. The design concept was a modern take on the roaring 30’s gentrification by tying classical elements with thoughtfully introduced bold and modern details. The city has always been the heart of the growing craft scene in China, the largest beer consuming market in the world. Oh Yeah! Brewing is nestled in the centre of Beijing’s business district of Guo Mao, amongst architectural landmarks such as the CCTV tower and the China World Trade Centre. Boxing Cat Brewery’s flagship Beijing venue aims to bring you the ultimate craft beer and dining experience. Beer, as always, is the focus, with an on-site brewery visible through the glass behind the bar, large tap wall, chrome pipe ceiling feature and industrial metal clad counter.​The softened approach in materials contrasts the industrial elements which overall creates a more homely and comfortable dining experience. The dining space makes reference to a typical tap-house interior with natural woods, concrete tile and an exposed high ceiling. PINTXOSPintxos is the latest edition from the Las Tapas Group, located in the popular Kerry Mall in Pu Dong.The design has a modern take on some classic Spanish elements. The space uses different textures and vibrant colours to accent the various elements of eating Pintxos style. The Clinic - by International Rehabilitation Specialists. The first of its kind in Shanghai, The Clinic, is a wellness, and rehabilitation center focusing on each person's individual needs. The design aims to create an interior that overturns ones idea of the "sterile white walled" hospital environment. Raw materials of concrete, rustic wood, textured glass and industrial lighting have been used to create an intimate boutique style to the common spaces and treatment rooms. The minimalistic and natural finishes give suggestion to a spa interior to instill a feeling of relaxation and healing. More
