The best of NeoCon 2023
For more than fifty years, NeoCon has provided a platform for the numerous ideas that shape the ways in which we live and work. Described as the design industry’s premier trade show event, the 54th edition of NeoCon took place in Chicago from 12-14 June 2023.
Continuing in its quest as a launchpad for innovation, the latest edition of NeoCon presented a mix of celebrated manufacturers and emerging brands, showcasing a wide array of furniture, fabrics, flooring, and interior finishes. Design professionals from a range of sectors, including work, health, hospitality, and retail, were in attendance.

Advocate Aurora Health's Central Telemetry Center
Advocate Aurora’s Central Telemetry Center completes the final phase of the Digital Patient Care and Management Center (DPCMC) in Oakbrook Terrace, IL designed by Matthei & Colin Associates. Part of a planned consolidation of remote digital patient care and resource management departments relocated outside of the hospital walls and into commercial space, the DPCMC is comprised of four areas with distinct but interrelated or codependent functions – Patient Care Command Center (PC3), Electronic ICU (EICU), Central Telemetry Center (CTC) and Common Staff Support (CSS). Wooden Forest
The “Wooden Forest”, situated on a beautiful estate of Ipse de Bruggen Foundation in the heart of Holland, is a medical centre for adults with mental disabilities. More than 400 clients live atthe residence, where they receive care and daycare activities are organised. For the specific needs of many of the patients a wide range of medical facilities and the rapeutical services are provided by more than 100 staff members at the “Wooden Forest”. To support specialized care, social integration with the local village is very important and encourages clients to integrate with the community. GAGUA CLINIC - Maternity Hospital
The project presents completely new building with new vision and innovative conception.
Building's architecture, interior and also furniture design was created by author's own de-sign.
Main purpose of architecture and also design concept is concrete and colors as architec-tural detail, also as main component part of design. Green and yellow's gradation as sym-bols of productivity and new life, implied by building's functional purpose, they became main line of design.
