543 HORTUS is the latest sustainable building at Switzerland Innovation Park Basel Area in Allschwil, Switzerland. This life sciences campus brings together research, start-ups, and established companies in a growing hub of low-carbon architecture. Designed by Swiss architectural studio Herzog & de Meuron for the real estate developer SENN, 543 HORTUS was conceived as a model of circular and energy-positive design. The brief called for minimising grey energy in construction, maximising efficiency in operation, and generating a surplus of renewable power. Kinderspital Zürich by Herzog & de Meuron emphasizes role played by architecture in the healing process

The newly completed Universtäts - Kinderspital Zürich (University Children’s Hospital) has opened in the Swiss city's picturesque Zürich-Lengg district. Designed by international architectural practice Herzog & de Meuron, it is Switzerland’s largest facility for both children and adolescents. The hospital is split across two buildings: an acute care hospital and a research and teaching facility. Herzog & de Meuron bases SIP Main Campus on the concept of a courtyard house

International architectural practice Herzog & de Meuron has completed SIP Main Campus, a large-scale innovation complex situated on the north-west edge of Allschwil in Switzerland. The building’s structural concept allows for a variety of applications by reducing interior divisions and vertical supports wherever possible. The flexible nature of the construction combined with the use of durable building materials, extends the structure’s potential lifespan. New Royal College of Art campus by Herzog & de Meuron unveiled in Battersea

The Royal College of Art unveiled its new campus in Battersea, London this past month.  With a total cost of £135 million, the landmark campus was designed by internationally acclaimed architects Herzog & de Meuron. A new global research and development facility for AstraZeneca, The Discovery Centre (DISC) is located in Cambridge, UK, on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus.
