In Aspen’s historic West End neighborhood, a classic 1890s Victorian-Era home is carefully restored to its original form after years of non-historic additions and renovations.  The Victorian is stabilized and reinforced, renovated, and linked to a contemporary addition and newly excavated lower-level basement. On 8000 m² of the old exhibition grounds, the Soviet Union’s sports and exhibition hall, one of the most modern municipal archives in Germany has been created. The antique portico was restored to its original state. The extant tiles were plastered according to monument protection standards. More

Brick plaster remains of the portal reveal the original structure and colours. The lime plaster dyed with brick powder was based on hist. broom-tip plaster.
