Weberhaus Babelsberg
The project is located in the listed historical district “Nowawes” in Potsdam-Babelsberg, a quarter that was created by the Prussian King Friedrich II starting in the middle of the 18th century. The aim was to attract Bohemian craftsmen, especially weavers and spinners. Simple cheap and functional houses were built, each with its own garden for self-sufficiency. These weavers' houses were single-storey with a gable roof, often built directly next to each other. Most of them had a small outbuilding in the courtyard.

Timber and Concrete Silos
Historical BackgroundThe Plange Mill complex, constructed between 1906 and 1934, originally functioned as a wheat mill and stands as a key example of early 20th-century industrial architecture in Düsseldorf. Over the years, the site transitioned from a bustling facility to an abandoned industrial space. In recent decades, it underwent an impressive transformation, evolving from neglect to a vibrant waterfront campus. The once utilitarian silos were repurposed into dynamic, functional spaces, achieving full utilization after years of dormancy.

Viva CoLiving Capitol Hill
This project incorporated a significant addition and conversion of a former retail building that was being used for church services into eight dramatic new co-living units. Each unit contains six, en-suite bedrooms with common living spaces.
