New institute building for machine learning
The four-storey building is located on the north-west boundary of a large science and technology park. The structure serves as the starting point for a chain of distinct urban blocks, creating a gradual transition between the large-scale research buildings and the low-density detached housing area to the west. To the north, the building opens onto the surrounding field landscape.
Research facilities for machine learning have been established here as part of the University of Tübingen’s Excellence Strategy. Prefabricated in a serial production process, the timber modular structure was completed within a mere seven months.

Haus in Erl
The house in Erl is in a residential area with one house after the next.
The property has a slight slope that rises from west to east. Set back a little from the street, the building adjoins the western boundary with an entrance and a wide garage driveway. From there it develops in length and gently blends into the small-scale building structure.

The residential building is divided into two wings - one on the street and one on the slope. In between there is a narrow connecting part. Using this U-shaped floor plan, it is possible to create a building that is organized around a private inner courtyard. It opens to the south and becomes the central outer space.

Haus in Wörgl
The house is on the outskirts of Wörgl, a quiet residential area, which in recent decades is characterized by single-family house cultivations. The building regulations reduced the buildable, formerly agricultural land at a construction site with the local customary maximum size of 700 m². The two-storey building, a concrete with a solid slatted larch cladding on the upper floor is located on the eastern border due to distance to the neighbors. Two concrete angle mark the way to the entrance, which was cut as a deeper hole in the street facade and is located approximately in the middle of the house. More
