The building is conceived as a contemporary 'wunderkammer' and houses the personal library collection of Jan Hoet (1936 - 2014) while also doubling as a residence for artists, curators, researchers and writers with an (inter) national, non-European focus. North Chevy Chase Residence
This classically modern residence is located in The Village of North Chevy Chase, Maryland. The client’s goal was to have a forever home that could adapt to their needs as they age, all while staying within a relatively tight budget. The site slopes from north to south, which allowed for the creation of two "front" doors on this corner lot. One door faces Kenilworth Drive, situated close to grade and easily adaptable for a ramp or low threshold entry. This facade also complements the lower scale context of the neighborhood with its modest two-story design.

KSA Saconia
Elisa and Paco, both in their 60s, decide to return to the exact same flat they lived 20 years ago. Located in Saconia, a neighborhood in the north of the city of Madrid, the flat is an example of the many interesting housing typologies of this district, with cross ventilation and open-plan distributions.
