Chinese Classics Redefined Yen is a modern Cantonese restaurant designed around the idea of reflective nostalgia, where cultural memory is transformed into contemporary spatial expression. The project draws from everyday domestic symbols found in Chinese households, the red cloth hung above thresholds, the glow of lanterns during festivals, and the auspicious color red, and reinterprets them as large-scale architectural elements. The GREFIS Hotel in Gräfelfing chose the GRID interior system for the renovation of its lobby and restaurant spaces. The black GRID perfectly fulfilled multiple functional roles within the area while complementing the restaurant's overall design. By combining the 1/2-GRID cube with its larger counterpart, they crafted lightweight, portable coffee tables for the lounge. Additionally, different GRID arrangements served as partitions and decorative accents, effortlessly integrating with the tables throughout the hotel restaurant. Kardüz Ski Resort is a ski resort project planned to be established on an area of 180 hectares on the Kardüz plateau, which attracts attention with its 1830-meter altitude in Gölyaka district of Düzce province. Located on the Elmacık Mountains, Kardüz is the highest point of Düzce in the border region with Bolu. Serene pool and restaurant pavilion are the extension of an existing hotel in Raigarh city. The client brief was to design a pool and poolside restaurant pavilion large enough to accommodate 200 people for different events. The pool had to be playful for parties and elegant for fine dining at the same time. With the added constraint of not disturbing a single existing tree, we decided on a simple tropical theme with turquoise-blue pool tiles, wood finish deck tiles and a grey steel structure that complemented the existing landscape.
