Rehabilitació Escorxador Sitges
Built in 1920, the former Escorxador of Sitges — the town’s slaughterhouse — is an industrial building designed by architect Josep Maria Martino Arroyo in the early 20th-century Catalan Noucentista style. The building is included in the Municipal Architectural Heritage Catalogue, which shaped the terms of the intervention from the outset.

For estudio CO–A, the refurbishment and adaptation of the former Escorxador as a cultural centre focused on the conservation of the original building. The project preserves the building’s principal elements, including its volume, facades, and structure, while introducing new features within existing openings and interior voids.
