Innovative Design Meets Sustainability. A furniture art piece co-designed by the Oval Partnership and HK Timberbank has recently been recognised for its innovative approach to sustainability and design, earning a spot on the FRAME Awards 2024 shortlist for “Furniture of the Year”. Titled “The Scents and the Soil”, the sculptural concierge counter features salvaged wood from a 400-year-old camphor tree found in a local village in Tai Po, Hong Kong. Extension for a bathing hut in Greifenstein on the Danube The allotment garden settlement “Greifenstein” next to a dead arm of the Danube River has a special charm. The first residents in the 1920s to 60s were very creative when building their bathing huts themselves. Since it is a flood area, all houses must be built on pillars.
