“Ura” means “backside,oposite,behind,reverse" in Japanese.Concept shop by fashion designer "Mihara Yasuhiro" dealing with products that take into account environmental and social responsibility from a multifaceted perspective. A quiet, narrow, semi-basement plot on a back street in Harajuku/Jingumae Tokyo. Insideout ltd. Insideout ltd. Kep Merli Restaurant

By creating a well planned indent in the landscape, the volume manifest a deeper appreciation of our natural and cultural heritage. The design and programming have been carefully planned to make it accessible for restaurant clients while effecting as few trees as possible. Leonit Ibrahimi The construction mainly consists of a lightweight concrete structure and aluminium floor to celling windows . The layered terraces create a slight distancing from the surrounding vegetation while covering the building from all sides. This surrounding membrane becomes a natural protection from the sun and the wind without the need of additional brisole. Inside - Out

The “sculptured skin” of the new housing complex reveals the meaning of its name, Inside-Out. It is an invaluable three-dimensional envelope with sun breaker-shelves along the façades interspersed with windows that can be opened completely, solid inserts and protruding volumes. Allowing one to sense what is happening in the interior – in other words, the structure of the building and the apartments – the system of the perimetric façades emphasises the borders with the domestic areas, continuing to above the roofing to include the open, protected space of the roof garden with swimming pool.
