Water Capsule Submarine

Water Capsule Submarine highlights the relationship between land and water. Located at the Central and Western District Promenade, this artwork takes the form of a single dew droplet that appears on the lawn. A submarine-like space carved into the water droplet frames and captures the city’s skyline, filters the surrounding landscape through a ripple texture and invites the audience to experience the city underwater. Constructed out of a double inflatable skin, visitors can see and be seen through the rippling water.  whynotsplash whynotsplash whynotsplash whynotsplash Leon Xu Liang New Office Works New Office Works New Office Works New Office Works Light plays an important role as we... Havwoods International - Clerkenwell

To celebrate Clerkenwell Design Week Havwoods commissioned Liqui to create a variety of eye-catching visual merchandising installations for their Clerkenwell showroom at 26-27 Great Sutton Street. The displays showcase a variety of Cork products from Havwoods new range of Cork wall cladding to offer showroom visitors a unique brand experience. The idea of the window piece is to draw people to the shop while still allowing them to see into the interior. Liqui took simple flat Cork wall tiles and gave them a 3-dimensional twist by creating a hanging structure that takes the form of asymmetrical drapes or curtains. The interwoven geometric pattern of the triangular cut tiles is held together by bespoke brackets made by Liqui, especially for t... More

London Coffee Festival

Several years ago Liqui were approached by the organisers of the London Coffee Festival with the aim of solidifying their brand experience. They wanted the event to have more of an inclusive festival feel rather than just another trade show of disparate exhibitors. Liqui were pivotal in achieving this; creating an overall look for the show with a suite of cost effective furniture, lighting and stand elements that smaller exhibitors could hire. For bigger brands we created bespoke stands specific to their needs; and although each was individual they were designed to fit within the show as a whole. In addition, we designed and built all the event and social areas such as the Coffee Masters competition arena, the VIP lounge and the Hyde Park... More

Rancilio Trade Stand

For the Rancilio trade stand, at London Coffee Festival, Liqui combined form with function. Integral to the design is the all-round counter space that was needed for the extensive equipment required for their ‘Extraction Lab’. This is where they experimented with temperature profiling and explored the variety of flavours that could be gained from brewing coffee at different temperatures. The stand was part of the House of Coffee area; so this was reflected in our open rafter roof design with our own Cell Naked pendant lights. The cupboard doors were CNC routed with a diagonal pattern that referenced the subway tiles that are popular in many coffee shops at the moment. Overall the design worked well; providing storage, counter t... More

Cafedirect Trade Stand

The Liqui exhibition designers knew exactly what was required of the Cafedirect trade stand having worked on a number of projects with the company before. The task was to design and build a simple but effective trade stand that could be re-used at multiple events. The result comprises a bespoke coffee kiosk together with detailed cabinets and shelving to display products. Everything was manufactured to a high-end finish at the Liqui workshop as part of our exhibition services. To tie in with the Cafedirect Hand Picked brand Liqui created intricate details and elements to compliment the brand image and the products being showcased. Birch Ply was the key material used for most of the elements within the stand. This material choice was made b... More

Rachel's Trade Stand

When creating the Rachel’s trade stand the Liqui exhibition designers were influenced by both urban and Scandinavian styles. The design goes all out to create a contemporary kitchen environment showcasing the Rachel’s Organic brand and product lineup. The concept has been designed and manufactured by the Liqui trade stand design team to look like a loft apartment style kitchen with its industrial style window overlooking east London. To add further refinement to the design the black steel, oak and white tile central island allows visitors to see and taste the products on show allowing them to engage directly with Rachel’s brand and its products. Faema Trade Stand

For the Faema trade stand the Liqui exhibition stands design team created a bold stand that embodies the brand. Constructed from sustainably sourced Birch Ply the stand displays the brand name front and centre. It’s a simple idea, but it has a big impact. The back-lit letter fronted bar makes an impressive focal point and serves the practical purposes of housing all the fridges and plumbing required to run the coffee machines. This is a piece of design that not only places aesthetics as a key factor in its creation but functionality as well. More

This design led trade stand achieved the goals set out for it and as a result is set to be rolled out and utilised in the US as well as the UK. The trade stand comprises three coffee brewing areas allowing visitors to interact with baristas and view each coffee machine on display. Brita Trade Stand

Brita showed at Amsterdam Coffee Festival in 2015 with Liqui as the consultancy behind their exhibition stand design and manufacture. In 2016 Brita showed again. The original trade stand designed by Liqui performed so well that they wanted to go even bigger – capitalising on their success. With this goal of making an even bigger impact at Amsterdam Coffee Festival than the year before Liqui looked at Brita’s new logo and took a sculptural approach to the stand. For the 2016 Brita trade stand Liqui created a huge Birch Ply canopy over the bar – setting the branded environment apart from their competition. The exhibition stand design takes curves to its heart with its curved white back wall and its Birch Ply curved seating.... More

Latte Art - London Coffee Festival

For Latte Art, at the London Coffee Festival, Liqui created an immersive event space as part of our exhibition services. At the front and side was a large L-shaped counter where top baristas demonstrated their skills in the art of making lattes whilst being videoed as they worked at their craft. Against the back wall we provided each of the sponsors with a wall mounted light-box showing their individual logos as well as a shelving unit for their branded products. In addition there was a ‘play zone’ for visitors to have a go themselves with another light-box for them to display polaroids of their efforts. Latte Art proved to be very successful with lots of people gathering round to learn new skills in the art of making coffee. More

Hyde Park - London Coffee Festival

To create something new and exciting, Liqui’s exhibition designers brought the outside indoors with the Hyde Park area at the London Coffee Festival which made the best of the great natural light on the second floor of the Old Truman Brewery. Like a sketchbook brought to life, this surreal space was the meeting place for the whole exhibition – somewhere for visitors to relax, enjoy their coffee and be inspired. Liqui designed and built every detail of the space; including the cut-out trees, lamp-posts, signposts, litter bins and telephone box as well as the tables and benches that populated the park. All these items were finished in white with hand drawn outlines and detailing; making them look as if they’d been sketched... More

VIP Area - London Coffee Festival

The House of Coffee & Co – The London Coffee Festival’s VIP Hospitality Suite designed by Liqui was developed to create an inviting atmosphere with its details and beautifully designed furnishings allowing visitors to experience fine single origin coffees, teas and cocktails. It’s a simple and elegant environment that takes inspiration from Scandinavian styles implementing light woods with white and black detailing to create an airy, clean and relaxed space. The VIP area features a purposefully long and elegant bar with a deep black front and a regal gold top. This, when combined with the informal and relaxed style seating, creates a juxtaposition between the decadent and the utilitarian. More
