La Biglietteria
“La Biglietteria”-a 160 square meter restaurant and American bar--is located inside the old ticket office and foyer of the historic Kursaal Theater on the Bari seafront. The former Kursaal Theater is one of the iconic buildings in the center of the Apulian capital.The building, designed in late Art Nouveau style and inaugurated in 1925, was subsequently renovated in the late 1980s by Paolo Portoghesi, who opted to insert particular decorations in curved wood on the three glass doors, facing the sea.

The design of this loft was designed for a client who is a writer. The spaces are very high and have been exploited as scenarios and colorful characters in a story. the presence of many books made it necessary to create many storage spaces at all the heights of the apartment, creating walls and shelves completely dedicated to reading. A complete renovation, signed by Bartoli Design, for the headquarters of an associated professional firm. The architects envisioned a project to meet the needs of style and use, to guarantee the well-being of employees and visitors, with a comfortable welcoming environment.
Inside a 1950s building, Anna and Paolo Bartoli started from the merging of two adjacent apartments, a total of 320 square meters; then, they focused on redefining volumes, in order to eliminate wall irregularities, and on the succession of spaces, designing solutions to combine efficiency and usability and creating this workplace with the same care used to design a house.
