The prevalent matt tones of this living area are sand, dove-grey and turquoise. The shapes of the furniture pieces are geometrical and angular. The most absolute contrast is represented by three Nafir pendant lamps in white finish, gold inside. Richmond Industrial Park

Three pendant lamps U-light, a collection designed by Timo Ripatti, light up the lobby of this building in the Richmond Industrial Park in Vancouver. The minimalist texture created by the aluminum elements and its capacity to fill wide ceilings, while keeping lightness in the volumes, suit perfectly this project by MCM Interiors. The interior design of this lobby follows the West Coast Contemporary style. Porcelain tiles with two grey tonality replaced the dated floor. A central corridor invites guests to enter the building. The walls have been covered with custom-made vinyl panels resembling real concrete walls. To soften the other elements, a preserved greenery bell over the walls. A splendid effort to bring inside, the outside nature.... More

Chiesa di Maria Santissima del Rosario

The earliest historical sources place the construction of this religious building in the first half of the 17th century, when it formed part of the cloistered monastery of San Giuseppe in Fasano. In 2016, the building's facade underwent restoration work carried out by architect Angela Sabatelli. The surface of local tuff stone was cleaned, returning the facade to the original light colour typical of this material. Sabatelli was also responsible for the lighting design, for which she chose various recessed fixtures from the Bright family and Pivot outdoor projectors. The portal is lit by two Bright 1.0 uplights (max 2W) with 20° optics and honeycomb louvres. This accessory was specially chosen to eliminate any glare for the people ente... More

SUSHI CLUB – Asian Dining

SUSHI CLUB is an oriental cuisine concept restaurant, in which creativity and elegance combine to create a refined and scenographic environment at the same time.   Third of a brand development project, which focuses on originality and exclusivity instead of on the rigidity of aformat, the restaurant stands out for its large size and the intense visual impact of the creations, which accompany the public by designing spaces inside of other spaces.   The game of volumes immediately expresses itself with the fitting of the entrance ceiling: cubic modules of different heightsalternate opaque and glossy surfaces, lacquered or printed, obscured or backlit, to be reflected in the horizontal planes of the coloured glass tables and the... IYO Aalto

There is a contemporary idea of Japan in the project that the Italian architect Maurizio Lai has developed for IYO Aalto, the second restaurant of the group after IYO Taste Experience, the only Japanese restaurant in Italy awarded a Michelin star.  Subtle references to tradition give way to a contemporary and pure design language, conceiving a place where essential materials and light merge into a different tale. Maurizio Lai evokes the Japanese culture through a decisive sensibility, far from prevailing stereotypes and clichés. He defines a restaurant with an absolute flavour, in deliberate search of deep symmetries and tactile emotions. Canaletto walnut and porphyry represent the dominant materials. Ethereal, imperceptible a... More

The interpretation of a narrow space translates into the creation of a rather homogeneous but sophisticated and exclusive furnishing system.
