Chromatica

Intervening within the historic fabric of Padua requires a sophisticated mediation between the layers of memory and the desire for contemporary domesticity. This renovation project, developed over a surface area of 75 sqm, undertakes a distributive overhaul to maximize spatial usability, responding to the desires of an eclectic clientele—whose taste ranges from Pop vibrancy to refined retro suggestions. Caption The rewriting of the home finds its starting point in the definition of the horizontal plane. The choice of oak flooring laid in a Hungarian herringbone pattern is not incidental, but constitutes the generating matrix of the entire intervention: a strong and elegant geometric layout that, recovering the tradition of histo... Sectilis

In the center of Treviso, the interior design of the Sectilis penthouse is configured as an exercise in spatial rewriting that works on the balance between the geometric rigor of fixed elements and the superficial treatment of finishes. The intervention, developed over an internal surface of 122 sqm, addresses two distinct compositional themes: the management of long wall curtains in the living area and the geometric resolution of a sleeping area with an irregular floor plan. The living area is conceived as a fluid continuum, unified on the ground by sand-colored cement resin flooring that acts as a neutral and bright horizontal plane. Set upon this base is the project's true organizing device: ash wood. Moving away from the logic of mass-... More

Operaprima

The interior design of this penthouse is defined through an investigation into the continuity of living, where matter is not intended as a simple covering, but as an architectural device capable of enhancing and ordering the space. The intervention explores the theme of the open plan, replacing traditional wall partitions with a system of functional backdrops. The goal is to create an environment where the boundary between different domestic functions is perceived as a fluid transition, orchestrated by the tectonics of fixed elements. The expressive lexicon is dominated by research into the potential of natural stone. Travertine becomes the generating element of the surfaces, explored through different processing logics that change its tac... More

ATTICO DTG

Renovation of a penthouse in central Milan. Complete demolition of all walls and complete redesign of the layout. Simone Furiosi All rooms overlooking the terrace were opened up and extended by the width of the old corridor. The sleeping area, consisting of two double bedrooms and two bathrooms—one private and one shared—is delimited by an L-shaped volume painted in teal and blue. Simone Furiosi As in most of the studio's projects, circularity is the theme, which in this case is evident throughout the entrance, corridor, living room, and bedroom/study. The latter is a transitional space separated from both the entrance and the living area by floor-to-ceiling pocket doors that create an open-plan space, or completely... More

Corso Trento e Trieste

The new pavement in Corso Trento e Trieste in Lanciano stems from a partnership between the Municipality of Lanciano, RicciSpaini Architetti Associati and the Department of Architecture and Design of Sapienza University of Rome. The redevelopment project aims to return an accessible urban space to citizens. The pavement along the street was redesigned taking inspiration from a number of traditional Abruzzo decorative motifs and turning them into the foundation of urban life. The large geometric ‘carpet’, which extends over the entire carriageway, where possible reconnecting with the existing floor of basalt tiles, was made from Marazzi double loading 20 mm SistemN porcelain stoneware in the nuances Sabbia and Grafite, cut ad hoc... Venezia Italian Restaurant Interior Design

Capturing the heart of Italy in the middle of Alabama, USA, the Venezia Italian restaurant interior design is an island of homely ambience, rich accents and beautiful lighting in a sea of Americana. The idea was to emulate a sense of cultural harmony that would make the dining experience as authentic as possible. So the CAS design team blended a mix of rustic and industrial style aesthetics in a converted warehouse setting to deliver a great visual and tactile experience. The richness of Italian outdoors was emulated in the interior design through potted plants, green windows, cobblestone flooring and a flowing fountain. In this way, the CAS team captured coziness, comfort and style; all in the same setting. http://www.comelite-arch.com/... More
