Blue Note Poznan

Blue Note is an iconic venue in Poznań, where the sounds of jazz have resounded since 1998. Over the years, it has become a legend not only in the capital of Greater Poland, but also in the whole country, being one of the few jazz clubs still in operation today. Ristorante Casa del Jazz - Bo.Bo.

L'edificio preesistente e la memoria storica Il nuovo ristorante Bo.Bo è situato all’interno del complesso ottocentesco di Villa Osio. Il comprensorio, voluto del banchiere Arturo Osio sul finire degli anni trenta, è stato realizzato su progetto dell’architetto Cesare Pascoletti e risulta composto da tre edifici un tempo adibiti ad uso residenziale. Nel 2004 l’intera Villa è stata trasformata in quella che oggi conosciamo come “Casa del Jazz”. L'edificio B nel quale è collocato il ristorante era la casa del custode dell'intero complesso. The Jazz Foundation

The project is born with the intention of creating a multidisciplinary cultural forum in which Jazz is the main exponent. The building is located on Puerto Vallarta’s “Malecón” (boardwalk); it is built above an existing commercial building, giving the project a great ocean view. The access to The Jazz Foundation is on Allende Street (perpendicular to “Malecón”) through a large wooden door that leads to a staircase that is contained in a double-height space full of natural light coming through a glass dome. The building façade is constructed with a concrete lattice that allows the flow of air and lets light in from the outside during the day, and works as a large light box at night.
