Museum of Forest Finn Culture
The Museum of Forest Finn Culture, located in Svullrya, Norway, serves as a gathering point and a node for Forest Finn culture. The museum is commissioned to explore the distinctive cultural history of the Forest Finns, to contribute to the diversity of society and to work as a representative and collective cultural institution. The museum’s program contains spaces for temporary and permanent exhibitions, collections, archives and research. In addition, the planned new building also comprises areas for visitors and staff, with spaces for meetings, research and events. Campus Sköndal
Ersta Sköndal Bräcke University College is located in Stora Sköndal, southern Stockholm. The informal campus has evolved gradually over time in this green environment of rich cultural heritage along the shore of Drevviken. The college specializes in social work and health care, integrating education and research with opportunities for work training. Långharen house
The project lies on the outer rim of the Bothnian Sea, on the fringe of Gävle archipelago. Tall pines and gently sloping landscape towards the sea give the site a specific character. The house is located by the water, in a cove overlooking the sea to the east.A sequence of diverse placesThe layout of the house is based on capturing the seascape, the rapidly shifting daylight and the proximity to the natural elements. Söderhov
The centrally located area around the former Söderstadion arena is evolving into a vibrant urban district – Söderhov – becoming an integrated part of the ongoing, coherent urban development of the Globe Arena, the Slakthus area and the district of Johanneshov. Following a successful open competition, Kjellander Sjöberg and White in a team with the developers Wallenstam, Åke Sundvall and Castellum have won the commission to realize the project. Cultural Block Östersund
Östersund municipality, together with the real estate company Diös, has initiated a research into potential ways of transforming the Gustav III´s Square into an attractive urban hub with rich content and new places for social interaction. The new square, currently used by bus traffic, will be equipped with a new city library, a concert hall, art school, hotel, residential buildings and businesses, thus becoming an inviting gathering point for the residents of Östersund. Elderly Care Skärvet
The elderly care is a part of the city block Skärvet, which is the starting point of Bäckaslöv, a new urban district in Växjö being developed along the railway connecting the city centre to the lake Norra Bergundasjön. The L- shaped building is the first phase and the cornerstone of the city block, offering mixed forms of tenure around a spacious, shared courtyard.Common areas with good light conditionsThe layout organisation is based on arranging all common and neutral areas into a central hub with individual departments located in each respective wing.
