Floreo Parks at Teravalis
Weaving the Sonoran Desert into Everyday Life
Set between the White Tank Mountains and the Belmont Mountain Range and influenced by the natural systems of the Hassayampa River corridor, Floreo at Teravalis emerges from a landscape distinctly its own. As the first village within Howard Hughes Communities' 37,000-acre Teravalis master-planned community, the 3,029-acre village presented an opportunity to establish an identity that could only belong to this place.
For Arizona-based land planning and landscape architecture firm ABLA, that meant looking beyond individual parks and amenities to consider how the Sonoran Desert could become part of everyday life within the community.

Soleo
In the fast-growing Southeast Valley of Arizona, a 473-acre stretch of land presented an opportunity to create something more than a conventional residential subdivision. For Tempe based ABLA, the goal was to structure a master-planned community with a distinct identity rooted in place, landscape and experience.
The result is Soleo, a single-family master-planned community shaped through the lens of Napa Valley-inspired agricultural design. Drawing from the region’s farming heritage, the project blends refined agrarian character with a modern planning framework designed to support walkability, lifestyle amenities and long-term market performance.

At MixC Shenzhen Bay Phase II, Grant Associates has created a 1-kilometre elevated public realm that weaves ecology, infrastructure and everyday life into a multi-level urban landscape.
MixC Shenzhen Bay Phase II is a 9‑hectare mixed‑use district that brings together a linear park, infrastructure, retail, entertainment, cultural institutions, and luxury residences. Blurring boundaries between urban functions and layers, the development connects the new downtown to Shenzhen Bay waterfront via a multi‑level public realm and continuous pedestrian network.

Snug brightly on the 6th floor of the Ziggurat Building in Saffron Hill, London EC1, this art deco roof garden, albeit only 30 sqm in size, is one of the most unique projects we’ve created.

With a barrister client who’s an ornithologist & pianist, we were invited to develop the terrace back in 2013. We resurfaced the roof terrace with Balau hardwood decking and black granite paving, detailed with angular LED strip lighting.
