Stacked and rotated volumes define Diller Scofidio + Renfro’s latest building at the University of Chicago

On the campus of the University of Chicago, the David Rubenstein Forum is a new facility for collaboration, discourse, and intellectual exchange. Morphosis wraps Casablanca Finance City tower in futuristic brise-soleil

Morphosis wraps the Casablanca Finance City tower with a brise-soleil that protects the building against the harsh Moroccan sun while exploiting the external elements to regulate natural light, air and temperatures internally. Canadian countryside home demonstrates the merits of prefabrication

Situated in the Canadian countryside, this modular home is composed of five prefabricated custom modules that are assembled before being delivered to site. Manufactured precisely off the plans of Figurr Architect's Collective, insulation, windows and flooring were all assembled before transport to site. SGA converted a former Verizon warehouse into Linx, a 185,000 square foot LEED Gold certified campus for science and technology companies. The façade, coined “fun industrial,” features hanging screens, custom still frames in mesh, vertical fins, corrugated metal, and a color-changing material called Alucobond Spectra.
