The new Hapeville Library (Hapeville, GA) embraces the town’s association with speed and industrial innovation. Taking cues from the jet era, the building’s form references engine air intakes, gridded flight chart data, and concrete pouring patterns used for runways. The Hyde Park Picture House

The Hyde Park Picture House is a Grade II listed independent cinema in Leeds, known for being the very last gas-lit cinema in the UK. The redevelopment project consisted of three key aspects; comprehensive conservation works to the original cinema building, construction of a new 3-storey extension to offer better access / facilities for the building, and a new 50-seat second screen excavated from the basement to increase revenue. Alongside these physical alterations to the building, the project aimed to celebrate the cinema's rich history, bringing its architectural features to the spotlight - including the gas lighting. Leeds City Museum

Work began in autumn 2005 on an ambitious project to turn Leeds’ old Civic Theatre into an exciting new museum in the heart of Leeds. The project was funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund, Leeds City Council and Yorkshire Forward and has transformed the Grade II-listed Civic Institute building into a state-of-the-art museum.
