House P
The moraines of the Inn Glacier are a geological feature and have left behind in the Tyrolean Inn Valley a landscape that dominates the valley floor in Innsbruck / Arzt by about 20 meters. These south-facing slope shoulders represent an outstanding settlement area.

3 Villas
The 3 villas are part of the Masterplan Breite Furt and are located in a large park, protected from street noise by the new buildings along Breitenfurter Straße (Markt & Schule, ON 239). The urban planning goals were to create a high permeability despite the required density, to interlock the residential area with the green space and to create a connection to the natural area “Wilde Liesing”.

Smart Living
In close cooperation with urban planning, LORENZATELIERS developed a detailed master plan for the area southeast of the u3-station Zippererstraße in Simmering. One part of this was realized by Sozialbau AG: a building complex with 140 apartments plus a kindergarten.

In the form of low-cost smart apartments, the subsidized new Viennese housing program for affordable housing is being implemented here. The apartments are based on intelligent complete solutions that are well thought out and suitable for everyday use. Compact floor plans ensure that all living space can be used optimally. Langer Anger East
Langer Anger is a development of the master plan “Mehrwert Simmering” with 300 apartments, offices and shops. The compact corner building of the dormitory “Langeranger Ost” limits the complex in the north-east, while simultaneously marking a “city edge” in the east. The functions are arranged horizontally: on the ground floor a food market, above it a dormitory with 112 furnished apartments for persons in need of a temporary accommodation and 13 apartments with two to four rooms on the top floors.

Base 11
The dormitory Base 11 opposite the gasometers is part of the master plan “Mehrwert Simmering”. This urban development model results in the trapezoidal ground plan, which is based on the subway station and the dominant gasometers. 306 apartments in a rough, factory-like building, minimalist rooms and spacious common areas were built on a tight budget. The reduced equipment is compensated with exciting spatial sequences and staged light guides. Narrow corridors open up to communicative places, low corridors open to the 21-meter high glazed foyer.
