This project explores the potential to create an urban oasis with the design of the home’s architecture and interiors. This residence is located in a densely-populated neighborhood and its design incorporates a series of indoor-outdoor spaces, connecting the home to its urban context while serving as a sanctuary for the owner and guests. Object of the intervention is an apartment located inside a prestigious late nineteenth-century building in one of the most elegant areas of Milan. Previously used as an office, the apartment had retained some of its original features such as doors, fireplace and plaster decorations. Nestled amongst the trees of South Wulumuqi Lu, the collection of Heritage buildings has been home to several things over the past 100 years. Over months of careful planning and design,  Luneurs have created a landmark by turning this unique building into a community hub. Luneurs Entourage's first level carefully reconstructs the classic details of old, with walnut and marble cabinetry and vintage French furniture reforming the relationship with this unique building. The Apartment As soon as you walk into this lush green surrounded space, you are welcomed by a dramatic and opulent, keeping it minimal and contemporary and using gold in various forms, mirrors across the apartment to create a soothing atmosphere throughout. Restrained design aesthetic and attention to detailing have made this a haven to relax and unwind. A metal screen creates a visual block between the living and dining area to enhance the feeling of an open plan keeping the privacy intact.
