The Children’s Home and Lemieux Family Center is a one of a kind healthcare facility that provides specialized transitional pediatric care.  It is the only Hospital of its kind in the state of Pennsylvania.  When the opportunity arose to expand their hospital facilities, the goals were established to design family-focused patient rooms like no others. Two new nursing units were designed in a vertical addition over an existing one-story wing of the Hospital.  Each provides patient rooms with a home-like environment with three integrated zones; one for the patient, one for staff activities, and one that provides space for parents.  The rooms permit parents to stay with their children and be a part of the caring proc... The new pharmacy on the corner of Jūrmalas gatve and Dzirciema street is not just a building, but rather a free-standing pavilion or environmental installation. Its overall image is modest and conceptually assertive, but at the same time keenly different from the surrounding urban environment and attractively expressing the contents of the building. Architectural solution of the pharmacy has been made as compromise in the negotiation process with the urban architects from the local construction monitoring institutions. Setting apart of other dental practices from Targu Mures, Transylvania, for establishing a relaxed, serene yet precise rapport with patients in need for specialty dental treatment. The atmosphere meets the eye, composing itself into simple though complex references to color, proportion and mood, grounding the scope of this medical space. The designed space is referencing frames and proportion as a motif for precision and professional medical competence, over a canvas of soothing pastels. More

Three prominent Memphis orthopedic practices joined forces to offer a more comprehensive and integrated experience for patients. Tabor Orthopedics, Memphis Orthopedic Group, and MSK Group had a vision for a new Bartlett, TN office that would be convenient to their collective patients, with the ability to offer clinic, x-ray, physical therapy, and MRI services all under one roof.The site is located across from St. Francis Hospital, within an industrially zoned subdivision. This location met the clients’ needs for accessibility and programmatic adjacencies but was otherwise a wasteland of parking and large, undistinguished warehouse buildings.
