Metal panel with aluminium honeycomb core for architectural façades, false ceilings, sun shades and slats. Panel with 0.7 mm skins in aluminium 5005 EN 573-3 on the exterior and 0.5 mm of aluminium 5005 EN 573-3 inside, joined by an aluminium honeycomb core.
larcore® A2 6 mm has the Hidetech® LIGHT installation system, developed by Alucoil® for installation using trays hung on architectural façades, false ceilings, sun shades and slats.

The Project
Originally constructed in the 1950s, Alexander Memorial Coliseum at the Georgia Institute of Technology featured an iconic, curved steel structure that had become part of the building’s identity. After six decades in operation, the on-campus arena needed be renovated in order to meet the changing needs of the university and its fans.
